Our Origin Story
In 2016, Victor created a blog to document his experiences as a 18 year old navigating the journey of becoming an adult. His intention was to share blog posts related to adventure, food, tech and many other interests he has. Little did he know that God had a different agenda for the blog – to use Victor’s gift of writing to glorify Him by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. In 2019, Victor decided to change the name to The Potter’s Clay, inspired by Jeremiah 18:4.
The Potter’s Clay is not just a collection of words on a random website, they are the evidence of what the journey of salvation looks like. These blog posts do not show a life of perfection but paint a picture of what redemption in Christ looks like. Through the years, Victor has shared his wins and losses, good and bad choices, mistakes and lessons learnt, all pointing to Jesus and His finished work on the cross.

The Potter’s Clay is a digital evangelism ministry. We believe that the great commission in Matthew 28:19 is a mandate for everyone who has put their faith in Jesus and the digital arena is one (not the only) of the many ways we can fulfil this mandate.
Through the Potter’s Clay, the message of Jesus Christ has been able to traverse borders to reach Christians, even in countries where persecution is rampant. This is proof that our words can travel further than our feet can and that digital platforms can be used for the glory of God.
Meet Victor
If Victor could describe himself in two words, he would choose ‘quiet storm’. Victor is a typical introvert (INFJ on the Myers-Briggs Test to be specific). He might not be the loudest person in the room but will always come out of his shell to speak about topics that he is passionate about. Victor longs to hear the words “Well done, good and faithful servant”. He is committed to accomplish his God-given assignments, even when they push him out of his comfort zone.
Victor is called to navigate both ministry and marketplace. He regularly serves in the Prayer and Connect teams in his church. As a Gen Zillennial (Gen Z who acts like a millennial), he often shares relatable but deep biblical reflections on his social media platforms to inspire a generation of Christ seekers. As a lawyer, Victor has worked in state government departments aimed at advocating for children, seniors and people living with disability. Victor is also the founder of Wayahoodie, a clothing brand that seeks to inspire Christians to showcase their passion for Christ through the clothes they wear.
