JESUS LOVIN TAG

One of my goals for 2019 is to be Intentional: about my relationships with God and with people, about my studies and many other things. In the spirit of intentionality, I want to post more consistently on my blog.

I recently discovered the Jesus Loving Tag which is basically a few questions that Christian vloggers answer about their faith and later tag others to try it. Since I do not have a Youtube channel, yet (Coming soon to a channel near you), I thought I would answer those questions here

Let’s Dive in,

1. When did you accept Jesus as Your personal Lord and Savior?
I have been going to church for all my life, but only because it was a routine in our family. However, I made the decision to accept Jesus as my Personal saviour when I was 12 ( December 2010 to be precise) and I must say it was and still is the best decision ever.

2. What have you learned spiritually this week?
“Your problem is not a punishment, it’s a platform for His Power”. I learned this from a Series from Transformation Church called Release. The statement is from the Bible story of ………..Well, just watch the sermon, it’s so powerful (No Spoilers here😂😂)

3. What is the most encouraging bible verse to you?

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38‭-‬39 NLT

4. Who in your life do you look up to because of their salvation journey?
My Mother. She is so dedicated to her relationship with Christ and also she is the one who laid the foundation of Christianity in our household – teaching us how to pray and fast, praying for us and with us and even being our family Preacher.

5. Have you ever been through a time in your life when you felt without God? And when did He appear to you?

I have felt without God before but it was just that, a feeling. Truth is that God never leaves us nor forsakes us(Deut 31:6). But at times when things go wrong and I get such thoughts, I am always reminded by His word that He causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to his purpose for them(Romans 8:28)

6. What is your best Christian book and why?

I rarely read books, something that I plan to change this year. I could say that the Bible is my best book, especially the Book of Romans and Genesis. I feel like Romans 8 is literally the best chapter and Genesis has become a favourite because of the captivating stories. If the book of Genesis was a movie it would definitely be better than Birdbox and Game of Thrones combined😁

7.What is your favourite Christian song?
Recently I have been listening to Unstoppable God by Tye Tribett and Good Grace by Hillsong United almost everyday. Also, songs by Elevation Worship have a special place in my playlist

8. Oddest place that you have ever prayed?
I pray anywhere and everywhere so I dont really think there is an odd place. But if I would pick one it would either be in the bathroom or in the matatu/bus when I’m late for school and have to say my morning prayer on the go.

9. What do you think your spiritual gift is?
I would say that my gift is being a good listener and encourager(even in my blog) and also praying for others. I feel like these two go hand in hand

10. In what do you see God the most?
In my Life. Everything that has happened, is happening and will happen takes the hand of God. Waking up, going to Bed, going to school and back, success in my studies – I see God in all these because without Him, none of these would be possible. Just like Moses said in Exodus 33:15, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here” I say that I don’t want to do life without God

Feel free to do the tag if you are a Christian Blogger/Vlogger or just a Christian.

Love and Blessings,

Victor George.
